Advent 2022

We are thrilled to announce the 2022 Ordinary Time Advent Playlist! (in spotify applemusic, or the song list is below and you can follow along with your cd’s)

Anyone who knows us (Ordinary Time) knows that we love the season of Advent.  We have made a playlist of some of our favourite Advent songs that we have recorded, a mix of traditional and original compositions engaging with this season of holy longing.  We invite you to join us as we prepare for the beginning of Advent this Sunday.  In this season seek to tune our hearts to remember that we celebrate not only that Jesus “moved into the neighbourhood” in the incarnation but also that He will return again—in the fullness of time. 

Each song in this playlist has a particular scriptural reference and can serve as a jumping-off point for meditation and deeper engagement in this season. We invite you to join us in this act of remembering and waiting using scripture and the songs in this playlist.
